We love a good party here at the Poets. Our upstairs lounge is the perfect place to raise a glass with family & friends and celebrate your special occasion with our great selection of tasty food & drinks. With an integrated sound system and wall-mounted HDTV we're all set for your favourite music/games/sports coverage.

It's a great space to gather with friends & loved ones to enjoy our tasty selection of food & drinks and watch the sports together or to host a lovely reception with space to comfortably seat up to 30 diners or 40/50 standing guests. Whether you're tucking into our delicious smokehouse menu or looking for a buffet selection, we cater for meat eaters, vegetarians, vegans and gluten free guests all year round.
To reserve our upstairs lounge, weekday hire is only £15/hr and weekend hires are just £20/hr

Hire out The Poets Ale & Smokehouse
Love the atmosphere at The Poets? Why not hire the whole pub for your next big gathering, wedding or special occasion.
Whole hire packages give your party exclusive use of the entire pub including our front terrace and beer garden for the entire day, from open to close. Each hire comes fully staffed with our friendly professional Bar & Kitchen team to keep you all well fed & watered whilst you enjoy your day.

Whole hires are available on a minimum-spend term P.O.A (including damage deposit, catering pre-orders & signed documentation)
